Tabernacle is closed until at least May 15 pending decisions by the Oregon Conference and State leadership.
Out of an abundance of caution, Tabernacle will suspend all in-person meetings – this includes church, Sabbath school, potlucks, and all mid-week LifeConnect meetings. However, we will be having prayer meetings remotely via phone conference—more information below—and the PACS Mobile Food Pantry will still be open April 23.
This moment that we are living in is hard. I think of the words of Jesus: “I have told you these things so you may have peace in Me. In the world you will have much trouble. But take hope! I have power over the world!” (John 16:33, NLV). Despite the turmoil and trouble, we can have peace and hope because Jesus has overcome. We look forward to His soon return.
In the meantime, we want to protect our high risk members. This includes:
- All individuals who are immunocompromised.
- All individuals age 60+ who have underlying medical issues such as heart disease, diabetes, or lung disease.
- All individuals age 70+ in any health condition.
Please practice regular hand washing and social distancing. If you fall into one of the high risk categories, Tabernacle is happy to coordinate delivery of needed supplies – just let Pastor Macy or the church office know (Macy: 509-301-4918, Office: 503-223-0623).
Feel free to reach out to an elder or to Pastor Macy (on the phone, not physically – we’re trying to limit that!).
You will keep in perfect peace
all who trust in you,
all whose thoughts are fixed on you! (Isaiah 26:3, NLT)
